Minneapolis Dog Training Camp

Boot Campers begins with obedience training. Your dog will learn to sit, down, heel (walk at your side without pulling), and come on command. These obedience commands act as the ground work for the other segments of our program, which include, physical training, cultivation of self-reliance, and off-site workouts.

Our Mpls dog campers have plenty of room to romp and develop. We create an backdrop that provides etiquette befitting many different situations. We emphasize inherent strengths of your breed of dog. Taking our campers on weekly field trips to public and private training sites, offers them the opportunity to participate in drills, simulating actual conditions they may encounter. Camper pets learn how to correctly meet an individual, greet them with proper conduct, and follow commands, even with the potential for diversion or interference.

What to Expect at Boot Camp:

Obedience Training.
Realistic and fundamental commands, are essential for the daily life of your dog. These are taught in the obedience training course.

Field Trips. Field opportunities are necessary to practice obedience skills. We offer a variety of circumstances. Dogs travel away from Neuman K-9 Academy, to train in other public and private settings.

Physical Conditioning. A daily cardio work out is indispensable for your dog. We feel this is an imperative part of your pet's training. It offers your dog strength and lifelong benefits.

Treadmill Training. Daily treadmill workouts will improve stamina, and tone the muscles (incline, intervals, power walking) of your dog.

Behavior Modification. Custom-tailored, disciplined, workouts are designed to modify a canine's aggressive, or unwanted behavior (separation anxiety, barking, etc).

Confidence Building. Self-reliance is built with obstacle courses, environmental stability, and dealing with adversity. Dogs learn to work through numerous conditions, building their individual confidence. We have them jump in/out of vehicles, and going up/down stairs.

Proper Etiquette. Dogs encounter human companions, learning to greet them without jumping up, and to wait at the door, until given a command to enter.

Upon completion of this Mpls Dog Training Camp, your canine will receive a certificate of completion and recognition, from the Academy, and you will receive a DVD with obedience commands, and instructions specific to your dog.
