Minneapolis/Metro Junior Camp

Puppy Camp establishes a clear cut, positive beginning for your new little companion. We build the essential groundwork for life time habits, and help provide a great relationship, for you and your puppy. We address fundamental issues, such as housebreaking, basic obedience, etiquette, and socialization. We also teach you, as owner, how to manage adolescence, and prevent bad habits.

Our junior campers have plenty of room to romp and grow. We create an atmosphere that provides proper etiquette, and reinforces the inherent strengths of your puppy. We take our campers on weekly field trips to public and private training sites, where they participate in obedience imprinting and socialization.

What to Expect at Puppy Camp:

Obedience Imprinting - involves practical and essential obedience commands for daily living.

Crate Training - His housebreaking your dog, and teaches your puppy to go outside. This is critical in fostering good bathroom habits for your puppy.

Field Trips - offer opportunities to practice obedience, and socialize with people, and other dogs. Puppies take mini trips away from Neuman K-9 Academy to train in other public, and private training areas

Confidence Building - is done by obstacle courses, environmental stability, and dealing with difficult situations. Puppies learn to work through various conditions that build self confidence, such as jumping in/out of vehicles, and going up/down stairs.

Proper Etiquette - teaches junior how to meet people, and properly greet their human companions, without jumping up, and to wait at the door, until given a command to enter.

Upon completion of Junior Boot Camp, your canine will receive a certificate of completion, and recognition, from the Academy, and you will receive a DVD with obedience commands, and instructions specific to your dog.

Puppy Camp Level I. - 2 Weeks ($800)
This program includes: Crate training, obedience imprinting, socialization, confidence building, and field trips.

Puppy Camp Level II. - 4 Weeks ($1500)
This program includes: Crate training, obedience imprinting, socialization, confidence building, and field trips.

To register: We request that half the tuition be paid as a deposit to hold your place in the course. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick up and/or graduation.

Effective communication and proper motivation strengthens the bond between you and your canine. We utilize techniques proven safe and efficient and recognized by canine training experts.

If any of the programs listed here do not meet your needs, contact us for a customized training package. Our dog training facility is located in St. Peter, MN - just north of Mankato. We service all of Minnesota including Minneapolis and St. Paul.
